About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Officer to join our Facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across client sites, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, and waste removal.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and office spaces.
- Replenish consumables including toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, sweepers).
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company and client quality standards.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages.
- Follow site-specific requirements, schedules, and WHS guidelines.
- Support team members and assist in additional tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and handle cleaning equipment.
Required Qualifications
- White Card (preferred but not essential).
- Police Check or Working With Children Check may be required depending on site.
- Valid driver’s licence (advantage but not required).
